New: Updated prefixed PIXX GUI & prefixed SBox GUI

Postby Thema » Mon Mar 19, 2007 12:07 am

Find them in GUI downloads

The SBox GUI has parameters to remove the panels surrounding the source leaving a virtual shoutbox. Plus the ability to choose the nickfield pixx:color index.
Now you can also set prefixed ChanOp nicks and colours.

The Prefixed PIXX GUI now has protected ChanOps for the UnrealIRCD users out there.

Because uploads are broken yet again try this download location:
SBox GUI v3.1b
Prefix-Pixx v3.1b

Any comments, criticisms, praise etc. will be accepted in my plugins forum below.
Please note that these GUIs only work with PJirc 2.2.1

Enjoy

A user contributed mod of my mod.

Postby Thema » Mon Mar 19, 2007 6:05 pm

Here you'll find a mod of my mod as modded by AntiAverage.

His idea was to have a single colour and to only highlight the Oper symbol rather then the whole nick. As discussed on page 2 in
viewtopic.php?p=16642#16642

Find the files here:-
Prefixed-PIXX
Prefixed-SBox

Here's a complete sbox update from antiaverage, with not only prefixed nicks but also the ability to position the taskbar to the bottom, top, left, or right:
Sbox v3.2b

Here's the complete pixx update also from antiaverage:
Prefix-Pixx v3.2b

Did you mean to the right, which is where the nicklist is usually?

The channel bar can only be moved to the left or remain beneath the text input.
I think I remember seeing something about the nicklist being able to move to the left also but I wouldn't hold me to that. Also I have no idea what effect it would have on the appearance of the applet if it were done.

I just checked back and the parameter I remembered was doing something else not what I thought.

Therefore the answer would be not without more editing of the GUI.

Sorry

I modified the sbox gui to allow for moving the status bar to the left, right, top, or bottom.

Sbox v3.2b

To have it on the right, make sure you set the parameter:
Code: Select all
<param name="sbox:taskbarside" value="3">

The taskbarwest parameter is not available (deprecated) in this version.

Clear out your java cache. It still has the other version in it.

Here you go:
http://theta.in/chat/test/right.html

That was put up with the exact same files as distributed here:
http://bluetain.com/dropspace/sbox_v3.2b.zip

When you clear your cache, it doesn't do to just clear your browser cache. You have to clear your java cache. Look in your taskbar, if you are using Windows, and find the blue coffee cup java icon. Right-click it, hit Open Control Panel, and click Delete Files...

Oh, and that icon won't be there unless you are currently using a Java applet.

Re: New: Updated prefixed PIXX GUI & prefixed SBox GUI

when i undock the channel and then hit the x to dock it again it goes behind the status so i have to undock that and close that to get the channel infront. is this normal behavior or is there some kind of sbox param to change it so the channel goes infront again when you dock it ?

i looked thru faq/readme´s and searched the forum and can´t seem to find the answer so i thought it maybe had something to do with sbox since that´s what i use.

There isn't a param to change that behaviour.

I don't know if it's just SBox or whether the Pixx GUI has the same bug,
Either way I'm afraid it's a bug that isn't likely to get fixed any too soon, sorry. :(
