My java chat not working

i have been trying to set up 1 of these chat rooms for a year now and really cant do it
i have my own server so i know i can run it ( java is installed )

The url to my chat room is

i am getting this error
Connecting...
Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection refused: connect

can any 1 help ?? been trying for a year now with no help

irc.diboo.net does not exist, so your will need another server to connect to. Thema will prob be able to provide you with the pjirc test one, failing that searchirc.com has millions (well 10,000's).

Cos its the ircd type you want. unrealircd is the popular one.

The demo server has now been named irc.evolu.net which you are free to use if you wish.
