Things that will assist in making sure you get help are..
- A clear indication of the problem in the topic. It's no good just posting "Help me!" or "?¿?¿" People are likely to just pass you by.
- Add a link to your code in the post. If you don't there is a good chance that the person that might have been able to help you won't be back later.
- Don't make your link one that requires any kind of sign up. We just don't do that!
- Never post the same problem in more then one forum. If you have posted incorrectly then delete it and start over. If you can't delete your post then a moderator will probably move it for you.
- Don't ask questions that are nothing to do with PJirc. This is not a JavaScript forum, nor a mIRC forum, nor an InvisionBoard forum. It's not even an IRC forum. We will often help with these things where it involves getting PJirc up and running with them. But do not ask us to support them beyond where it affects PJirc.
- Always do a thorough search before asking your question. Most answers have already been given, and asking again only muddies the waters for others.
- Try to ask all your questions in the one post. It is tiring to have to open post, after post, after post, when it could all have been done in the one.
- Don't post telling us that the applet doesn't work, and that you're going to use somebody else's. We have thousands of sites that use the applet now, so we know it does work. If you can't be bothered to learn how, then leave us, and go in peace.
- We are not Gods. Even if we speak many languages, we might not speak yours. If you cannot speak English, which is the most common language then use a translation website so we might be able to understand your needs.
- Nobody is being paid here for helping you, so do as much as you can to help yourselves.
- Unless you have at least a basic understanding of HTML you are wasting your time. Please don't post saying that you don't know HTML, or JavaScript, or PHP, and asking for somebody to build your page for you. Unless you're willing to pay, go find somebody who does know HTML to do it for you.
I will not hesitate to delete a post I think is not worthy of reply!

Go on.
Tell me I'm not nice again.
See what it gets you!
